Twoie Palmer spent 22 years in New York City as a freelance artist, creating for clients like Elmer’s Glue, Ocean Spray, and Rubbermaid. Her work has been featured in Family Circle, Woman's Day, McCall’s, Good Housekeeping, and Better Homes and Gardens Special Editions.
Inspired by a recent trip to France and a visit to the Musée Picasso, Palmer began creating biographical portraits of influential historical figures. Using intricate papers and decorative brass objects collected during her travels, she captures the essence of figures such as Frida Kahlo, Malala, Nefertiti, and Buddha.
