Leah Streetman is a versatile artist based in New York City, whose work is deeply influenced by her upbringing along the scenic coast of Pawley’s Island, SC. The natural beauty of the Lowcountry, combined with her travels to tropical beaches around the world, serves as a constant source of inspiration for her art. Over the years, she has worked in a variety of mediums, including ceramics, welded steel, stained glass, jewelry, and darkroom photography, each piece reflecting her diverse creative vision.
Streetman’s work has been exhibited at prestigious galleries and museums across the United States, including the Cork Gallery at Lincoln Center, the Ernest Rubenstein Gallery in New York, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, the Urbanna Harbor Gallery in Virginia, and the Evansville Museum of Art in Indiana. Her photography is also featured in the renowned 9/11 memorial exhibit Here is New York, which is part of the permanent collection at the Library of Congress.
In addition to her artistic career, Leah is a music supervisor and producer for Film, TV, and Advertising at Triton Creative Group, where she currently works with MGM’s EPIX Network. She recently served as a producer for the award-winning music documentary Sidemen: Long Road To Glory. Before joining Triton, she was Vice President of Film & TV Creative Music at Universal Music Group’s Republic & Motown Records, where she contributed to numerous projects in the music industry.
Leah’s creative journey began early when, in third grade, she won the South Carolina Governor’s State Art Award. Her childhood home, named “Oak Lea” in Pawley’s Island, remains a significant influence on her artistic vision and continues to inspire her work.
